When I was 10 years old, I bought my first camera. It was a 110 film camera. Before that, I used my parents or sister’s camera to take photos. That was when flash was a square bulb that had 4 “flashes” to use! Technology has come a long way and so has my love for photography, my equipment and my skills. For the past few years I have photographed most of the events for Kellogg Elementary School and have had many photos used for their news in the Herald-Dispatch Newspaper and the Wayne County News. My experience includes photographing sports events, teams, individuals, weddings, pets, children, adults, churches as well as landscapes and still objects.
I love to take action photos, trying to capture the player diving for the ball in mid air, the ball as it is hitting the bat or the cheerleader as she is upside down in her tumble. As a parent, I understand the desire to have a quality photo of your own child that truly captures who they really are at a reasonable price. I also understand the struggles organizations have to raise money. Photographs are a vital way to preserve those precious moments in time that you can never get back.
